CHILINC is Chicago's Laundry Information Network Connection—an exclusive computer information network that connects a laundry's management team to all of its flatwork finishing equipment. Current and historical production data by item, line or account, as well as operator efficiency and individual machine utilization factors give managers the information they need to produce high quality finished linen as cost effectively as possible. This information may also be shared with overhead monorail/storage and batch washer linen management systems.
For sheets, pillowcases, towels, blankets, gowns, table linen, napkins, or any other item the laundry feeds, irons, or folds, CHILinc provides detailed information organized as:
- Production by Employee
- Production by Line (Equipment)
- Production by Account (Customer)
- Production by Time Period
- Production by Item Type
CHILinc emphasizes the importance of a consistent look and user interface on all of its screens to enhance productivity, operator familiarity, and usability. Users may add, modify, or delete accounts, employees, and other data on dedicated screens. A variety of standard reports are available or users may design their own reports.
